As a British perfumer, I'm still jealous of the French for all of the naturals they can refer to as de Provence. They can have the clary sage, lavender, hay, jasmine and rose, but we'll clutch these little perennials dearly 😂. English Chamomile oil (anthemis nobilis) exudes the most joyous scent -  slightly apple, but soft and floral and sweet - without any of the feet-like connotations of the bluer varieties of chamomile.
