Extremely high-class creamy lactone. No cheap sunscreen coconut here; Delta Tetradecalactone is more about pure fresh dairy and lasts a nice amount of time compared to other lactones. Beyond this number of carbons, lactones become more and more odourless, so this one is the fragrant final frontier. 
 
In nature, found in everything from butter to chicken. In perfumery, we tend to use it in white florals and gourmands.
