Turns out that some famous naturals producers are actually discontinuing their beeswax absolutes because of pressure from environmental and animal rights groups. I'll leave my judgement of that aside. 
 
This product listing is the result of the sampling and comparison of about 7 different Beeswax absolutes from different suppliers. This one - from a smaller European Distributor - came out as the one that most closely matched my discontinued Charabot one. It has the sweet aspects of honey, with a little animalicity
