It's amazing what removing one double bond can do - in this case taking a synthetic that has been around for decades and twisting it in a new and interesting direction. 
 
In addition to the powerful, sharp, rosy backbone of Dihydro rose oxide, a sidecar note of citrus and bergamot joins. 
 
 
 
 
 
*I do not like to scaremonger - consumers are reactive enough without brands and suppliers adding fuel to he fire. But regular rose oxide, which I still know, and sell (and love) is becoming a little bit iffy in some circles. Essentially, there have been some studies which have found that large doses fed to rats caused fertility issue - take from that what you will.
One lab I know, for instance, has effectively banned it from formulas not because of some law or regulation for the final product but instead the risk of exposure to perfumers while pipetting it. Anyway, Dihydro rose oxide faces no such issues!
