This really is a marvel and unlike any other essential oil I've smelled. The best way to describe it would be a cross between the smoothest lavender you can imagine, candy floss, Alpine honey and Turkish delight. Despite having no damascones, it manages to smell totally damasconaceous and mouthwatering. I've been enjoying using it in rose, fougere and other compositions where softening or sweetening is required but where maltols, furaneols or vanillin derivatives would turn things diabetic.
