Isobornyl Acetate is the slightly kitsch, slightly fake smelling version of the (iso)Bornyl ester family.

This isn't necessarily a criticism, just an observation about its common (over)use in things like low-cost Christmas fragrances🫣
 
That's not at all to say that you can't use it in perfectly photorealistic compositions, more an acknowledgement of its main use as a low-cost, highly economical woody pine material.
