Abhorrently powerful! I've had formulas where the final inclusion of this material was a paltry 0.005% yet the presence obvious.

Borne out of excellent research by the Symrise crew, Nerolione is a distant cousin of restricted napthalenoids like Oranger crystals (which, I should remind, you can only use 0.20% of in your final fragrances under IFRA 51). I find it more smooth and almost myrhh like, and less artificial in most doses (that said, overdoses will still yield an excellent plastic note)

This material is solid at room temperature.
