I've been hunting for this one for some time now, but finally found a good source. Of mild odour and strange appearance, this (perfectly safe) acid can not only be used to extend the longevity of florals (along with ethyl myristate) but is also amazing in orris and violet accords where it seems to exert synergistic effects with ionones.
