Operanide was launched in Summer 2023 by IFF, having been captive for quite a while.

So, how does it smell? 
 
On a simple analysis, it's a "complexified" version of AmberXtreme, with mossy and slight gourmand notes. It also exhibits great volume (some would even say muskiness), pushing the heart of a fragrance. 
 
And yet on a more pragmatic analysis, it's the woody amber for people who don't usually go near woody amber. While the intensity and "sharpness" of things like ambrocenide have their place in numerous accords, many will really appreciate the softer and more elegant polished glintiness of Operanide.
