Animalic oud molecule with a grapefruit twist. Never sold before.* See it like a slightly animalic Hedione, but for woods. Transparent and yet transformative in small doses and large alike.
That said, do be skeptical of internet formulas you might encounter which feature fractions of a percent at 10% dilution: this amount would be below threshold and likely an artifact. I find that its effects start to be noticeable at about 2% of a formula, and more than 25% can have an undesirable nootkatone 'staleness'. I have one fragrance on the market with this at about 8% where it bridges the citruses and IES very smoothly if that helps contextualise a use case.
*FYI - update - an aggressively marketed seller seems to have poached this (my original name and all) 👀 -- and then slapped a "TM" on it as if it's their name lol.
Side note - personally I stay away from the whole duping thing in any of its guises - I prefer to seek out original things and make original creations. Copying others or selling literal dupe fragrance oils (!) has never really appealed though I am sure the market for it is huge.
**update #2 it's now been renamed 🐣
