The amount of natural waxes and oils present in olive leaves, which carry through to the absolute, make it notoriously difficult to work with. This material is a deep green mass that is sticky and not immediately intense olfactorily...weirdly it seems to get more powerful upon dilution. A 10% solution (in this case in DPG) is more than enough to shade and add depth and complexity to all sorts of green notes.
